High School Women’s Field Lacrosse Program (2012-2009)
This high-performance women’s field lacrosse program is designed for high school athletes with experience who are looking to elevate their skills, deepen their understanding of the game, and prepare for competitive tournament play. Led by Brett Morrison, Natasha Whitman, and Ella Shore, the program focuses on building confident, intelligent, and competitive players through elite-level training and game development.
Athletes will refine core fundamentals while learning to execute at a higher pace and under pressure. Training sessions will emphasize advanced stick skills, shooting, defensive positioning, transition play, draw controls, communication, and overall field awareness. Players will also develop a stronger tactical understanding of offensive and defensive systems, including spacing, riding and clearing, slide packages, fast-break opportunities, and situational decision-making.

Program Focus:
Players will work on:
Advanced stick skills, shooting mechanics, and passing precision
Offensive systems, spacing, timing, and player movement
Defensive communication, slide packages, and transition recovery
Fast-break execution, riding and clearing strategies
Dodging techniques, two-man game concepts, and field vision
Situational awareness and advanced lacrosse IQ
Leadership, pace of play, and competitive consistency
Sessions will include:
Position-specific instruction and skill development
Competitive gameplay and tournament-style scenarios
Small-sided games to improve decision-making and field awareness
Full-field transition drills and live scrimmages
Training designed to simulate the pace and intensity of tournament competition
Strong emphasis on leadership, accountability, and communication
Development of a competitive mindset and confidence under pressure
Encouragement of positive team culture and resilience
Focus on helping athletes contribute effectively within a team environment
In addition to skill development, the program places a strong emphasis on leadership, accountability, communication, and competitive mindset. Athletes will learn how to compete with confidence, respond under pressure, and contribute positively to team culture.
By the conclusion of the program, players will be better prepared for high-level competition with improved technical ability, stronger lacrosse IQ, enhanced conditioning, and a deeper understanding of team systems and strategy.
